Thanks to the kindness of Brian Maxwell, team bloodbikes is staying the night in Rock on the North coast of Cornwall. I’ve never visited here before but it is exquisite. I attach a photo of us in front of our digs and a photo of the estuary.
Tough day today: lots of hills in north Devon and Cornwall. Unbelievable weather again, steady sunshine, gentle breeze. We have been so lucky with the weather throughout, hardly any rain, wonderful temperatures, summer’s a-coming.
And we say goodbye to Richard Killen who has been a trooper, as was only to be expected from a man who has previously completed the long trip. Have a good weekend in Fowey, Richard.

Hi Guys – I can’t believe that you are nearly there! Fantastic stuff. I love the photos – especially Saunton Sands. Well done both of you – I wish I could get down to Lands End to see you finish! Hope tomorrow goes well.

Last day! I hope you ride into Lands End today with a justifiable feeling of triumph.
