Rock around the clock

Thanks to the kindness of Brian Maxwell, team bloodbikes is staying the night in Rock on the North coast of Cornwall. I’ve never visited here before but it is exquisite. I attach a photo of us in front of our digs and a photo of the estuary.

Tough day today: lots of hills in north Devon and Cornwall. Unbelievable weather again, steady sunshine, gentle breeze. We have been so lucky with the weather throughout, hardly any rain, wonderful temperatures, summer’s a-coming.

And we say goodbye to Richard Killen who has been a trooper, as was only to be expected from a man who has previously completed the long trip. Have a good weekend in Fowey, Richard.

  1. Hi Guys – I can’t believe that you are nearly there! Fantastic stuff. I love the photos – especially Saunton Sands. Well done both of you – I wish I could get down to Lands End to see you finish! Hope tomorrow goes well.

  2. Last day! I hope you ride into Lands End today with a justifiable feeling of triumph.
